I had just finished my coffee and my cup was still on the table. I had to step away for like 10 minutes. When I returned to pick up my empty coffee cup that still had like a sip of coffee left in it and who should I see "ANTS". Not one, not two, not even three but a whole load of them!
All looking very happy very busy and running in and out of the cup. I was shocked to see them. How could they get to the cup so fast? They were not in sight when I was having my coffee at the table. Not even one. So where did they come from. Were they hiding? Not possible! Were they lurking in a crack on the table? Unlikely! So where did they come from?
They descend upon our food and drinks, like the Elite Force, the Ninja team or Commandos (now you don't see them...now you see them). I try to look closely and even bring out my magnifying glass to see if they carry handphones, laptops, walkie talkies, PDAs or any of the latest communication gadgets. However, I see none!
So how do they communicate? How do they get the message across? How do they get the team together SO FAST!!! Mind boggling indeed, wouldn't you say?
If only we human beings could communicate as well as them. Imagine if we could pass the message across without feelings, emotions and a dash of this and that. What would the world be like, if all of us worked so well together to achieve whatever task that was put in front of us or whatever we are called to do.
I did not see an ant grouching in a corner or an ant upset that someone else got a better project or better part to play than him or her. I did not see any jealousy nor did I see any bickering or back stabbing or gossiping. NOPE, I did not see any of that.
All I saw was ONE team working together in unison to complete the task set forth before them.
If only, the world was like that. I wonder how it would be!
