I had been working on a tissue box cover as part of a commission recently. As straightforward as that may seem, I was stumped for ideas. It wasn't about the how-to but more of the desired look I needed to achieve. Two days on and I still had no ideas....this was pathetic to say the least!

I decided to go off on a blind start and see where that would lead me........ta daa! The finished product. It was even more gratifying I must say than if I had started off with a vision in mind.

I guess it's pretty much like how it is in life. There are times when we just have to take that leap into the unknown and see where our journey takes us. Sometimes it's the happy accidents that make the journey interesting, even surprising ourselves by what we actually can do.... and if things don't work out there's always the thought that you tried. On the other hand if they did, you'd metaphorically end up with a pretty tissue box cover and a brooch of flowers to boot! :)
