My 8 year old has finally asked me for a PSP or a DS. I am worried that he would turn into one of those kids who always stick their nose in 1. What are your views?

DS is a good tool for kids to learn stuff and coordination. It's the games that parents need to be selective about. Not all games are good. Titles like Cooking Mama, Mario Olympics are interesting and good fun. Of course, father and mother also get to play,
