Siti was surprised. She emerged as the overall champion for the competition.
Much to ____________________________________
I think we need to keep her proper name in the sentence.
Much to Siti's surprise, she emerged as the overall champion for the competition.
George was very angry with Joshua. Joshua broke George's toy aeroplane when he tripped over.

We need to use the word 'for' since it is given in the question.
George was very angry with Joshua for breaking George's toy aeroplane when he tripped over.

Jian Rong,
No.
The word 'her' is understood to refer to Siti
Instead of using,
Much to Siti's surprisr,Siti emerged as the overall champion
(which would become repetitive)
we use 'her'
