mr low had some shirts in his shop. 64% of his shirts were blue. the number of yellow shirts and red shirts he had were in the ratio of 4:5. he sold all his blue shirts and 75% of his yellow shirts. the blue shirts were sold at $12 each and the yellow shirts were sold at $7 each. he collected $4260 from his total sale.
(a) what is the ratio of the number of blue shirts solde to the number of yellow shirlts sold? answer 16:3
(b) how many red shirts did mr low have? answer 320 shirts

Hi Shirley,

I get a different answer for part b) I get 320 for Blue shirts not Red shirts.




Also, took a short cut to find 1unit. This part is really Number x Value, however, I did it without the table as I am rushing out.
