Tried solving these questions today, but i just couldn't get the right answer:

Question 1
At first, Halimah had 255 fewer stickers than Jun Xiong. Then, Halimah gave 37 of her stickers to Jun Xiong and the ratio of Halimah's stickers to Jun Xiong's stickers became 1:8. How many stickers did Halimah have at first? (answer given was 84)

Question2
The ratio of the number of males & females in a swimming pool was 5:6. After 27 females left the swimming pool, the ratio of males to females became 4:3. How many people were there in the pool at first? (answer given was 132)

Question3
Ke Xin jogged 14.05km in five days. Each day, she jogged 325m more than the day before. How much did she jog on the second day? (answer given 2.485km)

1)Draw model whereby H has 255 fewer than J first.
2)Cut out (and shade) 37 of H's model and transfer it to J's model.

Question 2
Concept : External Unchanged or One unchanged quantity

2nd day - 325m + 1 unit
3rd day - 325m x 2 + 1 unit
4th day - 325m x 3 + 1 unit
5th day - 325m x 4 + 1 unit + (1 unit <- first day)

14.05km - 14650m - (325 x 10)
= 14650 - 3250
= 10800m
5 units - 10800m
1 unit - 2160m

On the 2nd day, 1 unit + 325m
= 2160 m + 325m
= 2485m
