Uncle Tom put some sweets into 3 boxes, A, B and C. 1/2 of the sweets in box A is equal to 3/10 of the sweets in box B. The number of sweets in box C is 16 more than 1/2 of the total number of sweets in box A and box B. If 25% of the sweets were sour and removed, there were 804 more sweets in box B than C. Uncle Tom sold each sweet at 10 cents. How much did he earn? Express your answer in dollars.

3/6A --> 3/10B
Before
A : B : C
6u : 10u : 8u + 16
12u : 20u : 16u + 16
After
A : B : C
9u : 15u : 12u + 12
15u – (12u – 12) --> 804
12u – 12 --> 804
3u --> 816
u --> 272
Total sweets
9u + 15u + 12u + 12 --> 9804

9804 x $0.10 --> $980.40
