John put a mouse in a cage. He fed it with cheese daily. After 5days, it died. What was the possible reason?
What did the mouse lack of?

Shortage of water could be a good possibility.

Although wikianswers suggests tha typically an AVERAGE mouse can survive between 9 to 16 days without water.

This was probably a weak grandfather mouse

I was going to say the cage didn't have a lid so the cat took 5 days to figure it out and finally decided he wanted a piece of the pie.

Likely to be water. The other option is oxygen but if John fed it each day, then air is likely to get in ruling oxygen out.
