Thank you for your help.

I think all the options for this MCQ are incorrect. Is it appropriate to classify as "reproduce from roots" ?

African Tulip, radish and carrot -----seeds
palm ------ suckers
yam ----- underground stem.

What's your view?

Hi

Normally the reproduction from Plant Parts is classified into one of the three:
- underground stem
- sucker
- leaf

Your grouping of the African Tuplid, carrot, radish, yam and palm is correct.

I think you will find this consistent with the P5 Science books.

I think the classification of reproduce from roots is correct as roots of these carrot, sweetpotato etc. store food and can also grow into new plants.Maybe the African tulip may not be the one that reproduce from leaves
